Well it is simpler to give in to the elation of the moment than to take the time to do the investigate for themselves. It is excellent to know other people do exist that will do the investigate.
The Holy Man says to you: “Donate your money now, and later you will go to Heaven, after you die.” Religion is the oldest and most profitable con-game ever devised.
OH, can I tell you tales. I got suckered into a magazine scam. They all sounded the same (golden readers of america, readers of america, golden magizines of ameria, golden globe magazines, etc). When they called my house (since I had prearranged mags from one company, I didn’t start off suspicious) they all said, “Our computer had a crash, please retell us your info so we can send you the mags you had prearranged” After the third call in one night, I got suspicious. I sued the companies for not telling me I was ordering new mags and for tricking me with the “computer crash” tale. Beware of this scam too. It took me a few months and a excellent lawyer to get my money back.
Unfortunately, there are many “sheeple” out there that are easily fooled through slick ads for simple money. Since there are no end to these people, there is also no end to those jerks that take advantage of these naive people as well. It’s sad, but so right. Only unremitting warnings about deceptive advertisement and maintenance an eye out for others that may fall prey is the only deterrent to this.

there are others that are always trying to get rich quick as so to speak, and those ones get burnt.
By the time their smarts kick in, usually it is to late.
Because they’re sheep.
I don’t know it myself. I mean, sure I know that it’s greed that blinds them. But I don’t know why they let it; why they can’t realize that.
